Left clicking on 'Organic blocks' like grass/moss could give them a new dead variant, like coral and dead coral.

It seems to me that salt should be included as mineral in caves and on the seabed. It could serve to increase the nutrition of some foods that look good with salt in real life. When the ore block was broken, an item would come out of a whitish crystal that would become fine crystals on the crafting table, already suitable for consumption.

To increase the food of salted food even more you should be able to dry them into a jerky. on a item frame exposed to the sun. it is needed to be exposed to the sun and dry slower in a swamp biome or jungle biome. it dries faster in desert & savannah biomes.Drying in a normal biome is 10 days. Desert & savannah 5 days, Swamp & jungle is 20 days. if you put lava under the item stand it reduces the time by 4 days

    Jerky heals 8 food bars

You can even get salt from water in the ocean biome with a fishing rod in a dispenser

Instead of "Left clicking on 'Organic blocks' like grass/moss could give them a new dead variant, like coral and dead coral."

I think salt should stop the crop from growing, but not kill it. This would mean that a permanent green wheat could exist, or permanent 1/3 stage coco beans ect.

Builders often cap vines with string to stop it from growing, this is a cleaner solution.

Giving builders in survival and creative more options, while making the 2 gamemodes closer in ability. You would give you the ability to still have random tick speed at normal (keeping redstone, farms, and more working) but still have permanent non-growing crops.
