Description:
The boomerang is a throwable weapon that can be found in certain chests and are also sometimes wielded by skeletons. When thrown it spins very fast and goes 15 blocks (unenchanted). Instead of dealing 1 tick of damage, it deals multiple ticks of 1/2 a heart of damage. The base number is 10 ticks (5 hearts) with no armor. Instead of armor lowering its damage, it lowers the number of ticks. The boomerang always returns to its user except if it hits a wall, the user has a full inventory, or the user is out of range/dead. If one of those conditions happens, the boomerang drops to the floor as an item. When thrown, the boomerang stays relatively straight with minimal dip, unlike a bow or trident.
Enchantments (ideas):
Chipping (Max Level: IV)
The chipping enchantment increases the number of ticks dealt to the enemy. Each level adds 2 ticks (1 heart).
Ranging (Max Level: III)
Ranging increases the range of the boomerang, with 3 blocks each level.
Targeting (Max Level: II)
Targeting allows for the boomerang to slightly curve its path to hit the nearest enemy. Each level allows for an extra 1/2 block of curving.
