Agreed I have a M1 MacBook Pro and can play Java Minecraft but I used to have a realm with friends who play on switch but can no longer join them.

I'd rather they port Bedrock to Macs natively. If they do this, they should also allow the Android verion on ChromeOS

Yes! There is a work around but its hectic! With the annoucement of apple switching to ARM its only a matter of time before Windows switches to ARM, along with Nvidia and AMD

I think there really just ought to be a native version of Minecraft in general on m1, especially with how people report having great performance but others reporting less than desirable fluctuations in performance.

This has been previously reported here: https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360076576331-Bedrock-edition-for-MacOS-

Windows has been on ARM for a long time with many Surface devices being ARM based, using Nvidia-produced processors. While this was a separate build of Windows 10, it appears to be like macOS, built into Windows 11 with an x64 emulation layer just like Rosetta 2. Intel is looking to purchase a small company that has the goal of competing with ARM, so that's something to keep an eye on.

Apple now has new features in macOS for M1 Macs, and when they are running iOS and iPad apps, you can use touch alternatives, and even emulate a controller!

Yes! I'd like to see this as well. Why haven't they done this yet? I don't play the Java version on my consoles and I'd like to use my Mac to manage our server and play!

All you would have to do is recompile the launcher en switch to a native java runtime for apple silicon. These are available.

    Please!

Why don’t they just add it? You’re removing a huge amount of players who are willing to pay. I just want to play with my friends

I bought the realm recently and just found out that you can't actually play on Mac book, and my pc broke so I guess realms going to waste. quite sad. would help a lot if you guys just enable playing minecraft pe on Mac, and add a keyboard and mouse control.

Not only do you not support bedrock on ARM mac, it doesn't seem to be running ARM native on a Windows 11 Arm box. Why?

As an Apple App developer, I know it's brain dead easy to enable an iOS app to run on an Apple Silicon Mac with screen resizing support. You already support Microsoft login. About the only argument you have is the price and Apple's store tax. Just have a different version on the App store that supports running on the Mac and charge 43 bucks for it.

I run my own bedrock server to play with friends on PCs and Xboxes. I play on my xbox but also have an M3 mac and would love to be able to play on this especially when away from home. Currently the only way to play bedrock on mac is through parallels or by installing the android arm version. Since bedrock can already run on iOS devices it's frustrating that the only version available on legitimately on mac is Java.
