Craftable Deepslate Ore

When you go mining and silk touch an ore-or however you obtain it! You should be able to take that ore and surround it in deepslate to make the deepslate variant of that ore. You should also do it for stone too! Just to have options for building.

  I agree! Ore blocks and raw ore are great in mining builds, but unfortunately non-renewable. Reverse-smelting ingots back into ores or deepslate ores is a good idea, though make sure it's not abusable with Fortune. Alternatively, Wandering Traders could sell these, making him more useful!
