Since 1.17 is going to add strategy to mining, I thought of a way to make metallic ores more strategic. In geology, you'll often find metals sitting between two different types of rock, or between layers of rock. This is a process called inclusions, and I was wondering if it would be possible to add such a feature to Minecraft.
Functionally, this would mean that metallic ores (Iron, Gold, and Copper) would have a higher chance of generating next to pockets, of Granite, Andesite, Diorite, and Tuff, as well as around Y=0 where Stone transitions to Deepslate.
I'm not sure how easy or hard this would be to implement, but it would certainly be interesting to see in-game.
