The Deep Dark should have a significant reward for braving the depths, wardens, and whatever aliments you may face to get there. I believe that the Reaper is it. The reaper is a large, lizard-dragon hybrid mob that keeps with the skulk aesthetic. It has a very large head with big teeth, and like the warden, has (albeit smaller) antenna on either sides of its head that detect vibrations. Unlike the warden, however, it actually has eyes. Huge eyes, actually, as to absorb all of what little light penetrates down there. Normally, they can be found sleeping on the floor of the cave systems. If the player walks near it in it's slumber without making a sound, they will not be harmed. However, if the player is to awaken the Reaper with damage or a vibration, they would be wise to run. First, it let's out a horrifying roar, then gives chase, at about half the speed of the Warden. Speaking of which, it deals about two-thirds the damage of the warden with an attack. However, if the player gets it down to half health, and then throws a weakness potion followed by 1-2 enchanted golden apples, it can be tamed, and ridden. When tamed, it can be used as a war mount, having a key to activate the roar, and a key to bite. It has 30 hearts, but, because it is accustomed to living in the dark, it is vulnerable to bright flashes of light. As such it will refuse to be ridden during thunderstorms, and lighting strikes deal double damage to it and its rider.
