Copper Pressure Plates that emit a stronger signal the longer you are on it

Copper Pressure Plate

  • Gives off a redstone signal when stepped on, which gets stronger the longer the entity is on top of it
  • Does not oxidize
  • Crafted just like the other pressure plates, but with 2 copper ingots
    •  Although, maybe it could be crafted with the various copper blocks instead. If this was the case, maybe the more oxidized it is, the faster the signal rises.

Why add this?: It gives copper another use and adds an interesting redstone signal source

    This idea is really good honestly maybe instead of losing it's signal the moment you step off it it slowly loses its redstone signal going down by say 1 every 4-8 ticks maybe differing based of oxidation if it can be oxidized.  Hope your idea gets more traction :)

    In terms of decoration, lightning rods already make great table legs so being able to add a matching pressure plate on top would be nice for making builds more cohesive. I think it would be fine if, like the lightning rod, copper pressure plates didn't oxidize.

    It's probably easier for the devs to add only one colour of pressure plate, so I think it's fine to have them never oxidize like lightning rods. However, to justify this, maybe the recipe to make them should require beeswax - as without being waxed the mechanism would rust and sieze up and therefore not work as a pressure plate.
