1. A new structure: "Watch tower". The watch tower could be a structure that only generates on the new mountains, and has decent loot similar to the desert temple, but also has a stray spawner at the top. This could be very interesting because it would force the player to move around quickly, as the strays shoot them with their slowness arrows!
2. Something that I'm sure will come with the new huge caves is a lot of darkness. So why not make a new light source that works much better than the others and lights up huge areas! Maybe this light source could incorperate the new glowsquid mob in some way, as it doen't have much use currently.
3. This one might not be as great as the last two, but I have another idea for the glowsquid. Maybe you could use its ink sacs in a brewing stand or crafting table to make splash potions that work as smoke bombs? This would be super useful for pvp and maybe it could have some effect on the new Warden mob!
