Amethyst Stonecutter Recipes

I'm sure many of you have noticed how beautiful amethyst is in Minecraft. And since it's renewable, it can make for a wonderful building material.

So it is my belief that there is some wasted potential here. Why not have some variants of amethyst that can be made on a stonecutter (as well as corresponding crafting recipes), such as cut amethyst, chiseled amethyst, amethyst pillars and amethyst stairs, to name a few? I feel like that could make for many amazing builds.

  A new recipe would be interesting: polished amethyst! It would be a very beautiful block of amethyst to use on floors, for example. The polished amethyst would be a block of ore like those of diamond, emerald or gold, but with a very different texture from the block of amethyst that we see.

  I dont like much amethyst block for building things, some cut amethyst that would look similar to emerald blocks would be wonderful, or just purple gem cubes, any refined version of that block, I dont think bricks or such should be thing but maybe some other blocks.. maybe having ability to make some decorated chisel blocks or such, maybe pillars similarly as we have with quartz
  also honey comb could be nice to be able to "smoothen" and make even other shapes of that, those both blocks I see not useable in any builds but with potential to be wonderful addition to block list
