With the introduction of copper, I think it would be a missed opportunity to leave its uses to a select number of 1.17 features and the odd one beyond. Whilst copper does have some use I feel if it is going to be a meaningful ore like the others it should be integrated into the gameplay loop. How can we do this? change certain recipes from pre 1.17 to require copper instead of Iron!
Forgive me for not being an expert on copper but we could make Piston's require a copper ingot instead of iron (as long as it makes sense!) and other such recipes that would fit copper instead of iron/gold currently. I know there are deadlines to meet and given this is one of the largest updates ever it probably isn't in the update scope however, I feel as stated earlier it would be a missed opportunity to not lower the number of iron recipes (There are a lot) and increase the copper ones. Either way looking forward to 1.17!
