Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Cattail in Swamps

As a part of the Swamp Features planned for the future, I think Cattail should be a part of that. Cattail would grow like Sugarcane, but also in 1 block deep water. To be more unique as a plant, Cattail could grow its flower (Brown thing at the top), which would explode into seeds after a few days, growing more cattail around it.

To give Cattail functionality, you would be able to use Shears on Cattail with a flower to get the Flower. By right-clicking it, you could spread the seeds around you and get a Cattail Husk. This Husk could then be filled with Seeds or Flowers and then right-clicked to spread the items inside all around you while also deleting the husk. It would be a unique way to quickly plant a lot of seeds or flowers.

    Excellent idea! Perhaps for added practicality, you could craft the Cattails themselves into rope, which could be climbable and crafted into rope ladders?

    Many Parts of the Cattail are also edible, so this could be a possible food source that could be scavenged. 

    Maybe they could also function like candles, where they can multiply within one block, and harvesting takes one at a time. If you take them all they're gone, but if you leave a few they'll grow back.

    Cattail is a great choice for the mangrove biome the mud kinda looks like a gray color they should fix it
