Now that copper can be deoxidized, I'd like to share my feedback about how it misses the mark.
- [Feature now exists!] It must now be possible to wax fully oxidized copper, as it is now the only variant of copper that can't be locked into its current state.
- The Hoe should be the primary tool for scraping off wax. Hoe, Axe, Shears, Sword should all be able to do it, maybe at an increasing durability penalty. Shears may have the added bonus of being able to scrape from a dispenser.
- Lightning removing oxidation doesn't really make sense. In reality, arcing is a way to cause oxidation, not remove it. I suspect the intent is to resemble Electrolysis, but the electrical polarity is wrong and there's nowhere for the oxide to go. Oxidation being a slow/spontaneous thing seems reasonable but deoxidation seems like it should be intentional and controllable, especially when considering the addition of waxing.
As an alternative route to deoxidizing, I would like to shamelessly plug my idea for Soot. Soot can be used to make caustic soda, which is actually an important ingredient in the rust removal electrolysis process.

Edit: Added tag to fully oxidized copper waxing - this feature is in the latest Java snapshot as of 9-Apr-2021.
