Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Iron and Gold Stairs and Slabs to complement Copper Stairs and Slabs

The upcoming Caves and Cliffs update will be adding Copper Ore and Ingot, craftable into a Block of Copper and Stairs and Slab.

This would be the first metal block to introduce stairs and slab variants, so including Stairs and Slabs for Block of Gold and Block of Iron would be a fitting addition for this update.

    I have wanted this for years to make gold statues for my mount olympus map with out the need for a texture pack. *face plam "why Mojang? WHY?"

    P.S. This should include walls and fence blocks similar to iron bars
    Electrified copper fence anyone?

    Ever since I started playing Minecraft, I've been wishing for stairs, steps, fences, trapdoors, etc. made of iron, gold, lapis, emerald, redstone, and coal. Maybe these wishes will come true someday. There would be such great new decadent design possibilities.
