The twisted swamp is a dark evil place. A new block called sludge will spawn There that makes you slowed while walking on it and makes small ripple patterns as you walk in it. There are new pale colored bushes that spawn in the sludge. If you walk on a sludge block that is bubbling an endermite will apear. When in this Biome you will have a lower vision range kind of like the blindness effect. A new plant called a cage sprout will spawn There and it is a plant with a small stalk and a purple bubble on top. When broken you will see a soul come out then disappear but if you use a bottle on the plant you will get a bottle of enchanting (or maybe a soul in a bottle, I'm not sure). The reason to go here is the cage sprouts and a new mob who spawns if you place a chiseled block. This mob is called an ender elf and looks like an elf owl (real life). If they are damaged they will become translucent and if they are fed honey they will scare away silverfish and be marked as a location on your map.
