Banners on player heads

Illagers can spawn with banners on top of their head. So it would make sense that you could put a banner in your helmet slot and it appears on top of your head, like for illagers.

    I think the banner should go in the off-hand of the player so the player could wear a helmet or mob head at the same time.

    There should be another slot or some simple, survival-friendly way to unobtrusively equip the banner outside of using commands, and having certain banners equipped should have some effect, e.g. an enchanted banner with a very minor beacon-like effect, or certain patterns causing mob reactions (like the pillager banner making villagers flee or something). Ideally, of course, the helmet slot should still be free while the banner is there.
