Jewelled Caves could be surrounded with beautiful white crystals, which makes the place feel beautiful and with lots of new shining particles, but also very dangerous and with a lot of mobs to avoid or attack.
However, if you place any light source nearby these crystals, they will glow around a certain radius and even glow other crystals too. Also, they will "turn off" after a certain time tick / after some seconds.
The crystal blocks could be translucent in the corners and a solid white color in the middle, just like the Mushroom blocks. Also, these blocks could have shards around the blocks, to give a special touch to this block.
How the Jewelled Caves looks like?
Well, like I said, it would be a very beautiful crystal caves biome, with his unique look and mechanics.
Why would the player want to go explore these new caves?
I think the reward for finding these caves is the own biome, because this biome could be just as rare as Amethyst Geodes. Also, the crystal blocks could have the potential to be wireless light source.
What makes the Jewelled Caves so different than every other biome I can see in Minecraft?
Although the Jewelled Caves biome could be related to the Deep Dark and the Sculk Sensors, they work as a wireless light source, and not as a wireless redstone source. Also, the potential for redstone and buildings involving these crystal blocks are huge. Maybe it could even be dyable! I really hope this idea gets added into Minecraft!
