Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Anti-Light Block

A block made like a redstone lamp, but with tinted glass instead of glow stone, and Amethyst instead of redstone. This block would suck up light, but the darkness it creates would not spawn mobs. Functions like a redstone lamp, and perfect for builders who want to incorporate darkness into their builds.

    In my opinion, one of the best side effects of this block is giving a use for amethyst
