Renewable Dead Bushes

I have a small idea on how to make dead bushes renewable. What if you could shear azalea bushes and they turn into dead bushes and drop azalea leaves. This could also help explain why azalea wood doesn't exist.

  Another idea: if you plant an azalea bush on sand, after a while it will die because there is no water there.
