In real life, glades are clearings in forests where trees do not grow for various reasons. This makes them a good place for small plants, such as moss to grow. Unfortunately, they are currently an endangered ecosystem, which threatens the species native to them. In Minecraft, glades could occur when a lush caves biome intersects a forest biome. The surrounding area would be clear of trees, except for the azalea tree. The ground would be grassy, but with large and small patches of moss. There would be grass, but no 2-block tall grass or flowers. Lilly of the valley, azure bluets, and dandelions should spawn naturally in them. Edit: Also alliums.
