Minecraft is in dire need of an adventure update to improve the overall gameplay. As a player, I feel like after I've beaten the game I have no incentive to leave my base and explore even with all the recent updates and I'm sure this is shared by other people. I think improving on older content in the game would make adventuring the world more appealing. Content I think should be improved are the Dungeons, Weapons and enchants.
The dungeons in the game are currently underwhelming and are usually just cheap mob farms. A way to improve this would be to create 3 kinds of a dungeon. The first is be 1-3 rooms of equal difficulty and are found closer to the surface. The next is 4-6 rooms with 2 spawners but better loot and are found nearer to y:0. The last will spawn near the bottom of the world and have 8-10 rooms the last containing an invincible chest guarded by the warden the chests would give good loot. These dungeons would get rarer as you go down but also have better loot. Also, the spawners would run out forcing the player to explore for more.
For a while, the sword and bow have been the only weapons in Minecraft, more should be added. For example, having bayonets would mean crossbows could be used in range and melee creating an incentive to craft it over the bow.
I added this in because I felt like more experimental enchants are needed such as frost walker (that was fun). I feel like a lot could be done to improve on this.
