Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

enchantments for shields

there should be a few special enchantments that can be added to certain tools. for example, sheilds would have an enchantment called REFLECTING which would reflect guardian beams, potions and, at higher levels, fireballs from ghasts and the ender dragon. arrows and other projectiles which already bounce off of shields would bounce farther and in a straighter line. another shield enchantment, BASHING, would allow the player to ram their shields into things. it could be used to hurt mobs and players, break wooden doors, and grant a long jump of sorts. this would come at a price, however, as it would need to have a cooldown and would severely damage your shield when you ram things. there could even be an achievement that you could get for ramming a goat with your shield. ram the ram would be a good title for the achievement

    I like the idea, but those don't seem to fit the shield. What if like Thorns, there was a Spikes enchantment that damages melee mob attacks? Right now there's not much point for a shield with mobs like zombies. It's easier to use sword's knockback. This could balance that.
