We NEED more gems, so here are some ideas

Topaz: a yellow gem that would spawn in desert biomes. It would look similar to gold, but with a more transparent texture. Sapphire: A blue gem that spawns in tundras, taigas, and most commonly in ice spikes. Aquamarine: A light-blue gem found in warm ocean biomes. Opal & Black Opal: Beautiful rainbowish gems found rarely throughout the world. Rubies?: A red gem only found in geodes, like Amethyst. These gems would mainly be used for decorative purposes, but could also be traded with Spelunkers, villagers with mining helmets that spawn underground that you can trade gems with for lots of emeralds.

  Spelunkers sound neat after the introduction of traveling merchants, the more RPG-ish NPCs, the better.
