Vex Jars (Woodland Mansion Treasure)

Vex Jars would be dark blue ceramic pots, not dissimilar in appearance to the clay pots being introduced in 1.17. They would commonly generate as decor in Woodland Mansions. Vex Jars could also rarely be discovered via the new archaeology system.

When broken with anything other than a Silk Touch Pickaxe, the Vex Jar shatters, releasing a small swarm of Vexes. Placing a fire underneath the Jar could be used to expel Vexes without destroying the artifact (although this would not increase the number of Vexes produced).

Vex Jars would function using entity data tags similar to how beehives were implemented.

Since Totems of Undying are no longer unique to Woodland Mansions, this would revitalize expeditions into Dark Forests.

    I do not see how this will help the player or why it would be used, What will vexes do?

    Arabian9699 Being able to contain or transport a mob that can not conventionally be contained or transported conventionally is a reward in its own right.

    Plus innovative players can use them to unleash Vexes on others.

    And even if unleashing Vexes on others isn't your cup of tea, I think a lot of us would like more than just brown clay pots (assuming dyeing pots isn't on the to-do list).

    And what's wrong with trophies? We already the Dragon Egg and Illager Banners. Even diamonds are practically a trophy since mending armor became the norm for advanced players.

    They shouldn't be a block, but an item.  I think that if you throw it it should break on impact and the vexes will work for you, and maybe they should be renewable somehow since one might use a lot of them.
