The Amazon Rainforest is home to over 3 million different species of plants and animals. Every day about 137 species are driven towards extinction. With our achievement of 20% of the Amazon being completely gone, it's only a matter of time before it gets out of hand. Awareness for the Amazon!
Terrain shape? What does it look like?
A nice mixture of nice smooth ground with minor hills and small cliffs and holes for waterfalls and ponds. Large rivers would cut down through the rough underbrush and leave areas open for the view!
How would trees and plants look in a rainforest?
Well it would be similar to the jungle but more aimed at the overgrowth of the treetops and the ground foliage/plants. It would be a somewhat large yet rare biome, kind of like the dark oak forests we have currently but the treetops would be much higher, along with the ground cover being extremely high. The ground cover would be transparent foliage instead of solid blocks, since the rainforest is usually not so dense at the forest floor.
Why a rainforest?
Because it's absolutely beautiful! There is heavy growth above and below, yet a large area of space between them. Flowers can litter the forest floor along with palm trees (which was in a biome vote) and all the trees would only grow between 50-60 blocks tall making the canopy solid with minimal gaps!
I was drawing when the idea popped into my head. I was mainly just drawing tropical stuff so the drawing doesn't have much to do with it. It's just pretty!
