Remove Deepslate

Deepslate is just yet another block to unnecessarily take up inventory space. And insta-mining it is impossible. Please just make it spawn in limited veins like diorite or remove it altogether

    No its such a good idia to have a stone that isnt instaminable. And it creates a unique atmosphere

    More blocks is usually a good thing for building, though. As for instant mining, you can probably still do it with gold pickaxes. The point of the block is to be more difficult to deal with, probably in part for the fact that diamonds will appear more often down there.

    I don't understand your concept. Deepslate looks fascinating in the new caves (at least with Dripstone caves) and it creates a very interesting and grim atmosphere that would also perfectly fit with the Deep Dark biome. It also has a ton of building variants (much more than andesite or granite) so it is great to have huge quantities of it. As for the mining speed, this is also a cool gameplay feature; if you go below Y=0, the stone becomes much harder. Insta-mining is not essential. I don't see how that is unnecessary inventory clutter. It is necessary because of what I said above, and it is not even inventory clutter. If you're mining below Y=0, you don't need to take any regular stone with you, and you only find 2 stone types (Deepslate and Tuff), so there is less clutter than mining above Y=0. Besides, when was inventory clutter such a major issue that could cause the developers to remove entire blocks or change entire gameplay aspects?

    I Belive That All Theese People Are Crazy, Do You Remember The "Deep Dark" Well Deepslate Gives That To Us... DONT REMOVE IT!!!!!

    We already have Blackstone and grey concrete. And this is just more inventory clutter to worry about. Purly an aesthetic block that does nothing but be annoying for making quarries.

    and deepslate could just be made to spawn only in the deep dark. And make it spawn underground like diorite.

    If you are going to add it revamp bundles and make them able to hold 3-5 stacks. Or just make the inventory bigger.

    And make it break slightly faster so u can instamine it with netherrite

    I don't understand why you're whining so much. Inventory clutter is not an excuse to remove such a cool gameplay concept. I'm also not convinced that Deepslate contributes that much to inventory clutter. In fact, having it generate like Diorite would cause even more clutter. Deepslate can craft stone tools and furnaces just like Cobblestone and Blackstone, so you can just throw your Cobblestone away while exploring below Y=0. It's not like the addition of Deepslate would be the one thing that destroys your inventory while mining.

    Deepslate is a very interesting block that gives a nice atmosphere for being underneath where the bedrock layer used to be. If deepslate is removed, the Minecraft world won't be high enough for comfort and that would mean that very few good generated caves will be found. Plus, if deepslate is removed then the Deep Dark will also likely be removed. I don't see why deepslate counts as clutter. It may be very good for building and, if removed, some players might be so sad they stop playing. If deepslate is removed, there will actually be MORE clutter because less ores will be mined, less houses will be built fast, and also bedrock is not very far down, because deepslate REMOVES the bedrock layer and puts it further down.

    Colonizor48 If you were a builder, you would know that "grey concrete" is nothing like deepslate. The only thing that needs to be removed is the awful name.

    it is soo hard to find diamonds know and apart from looking cool there isnt any benifiet of it.The soawn location of diamonds have changed i mean come on!

    The stone that isn't instaminable is TERRIBLE concept that only makes annoying survival players.
    It's Mining time just only nerfed how much people get diamonds, and since 1.18, there is no longer swamp-diamond-clay method, so it over-nerfed diamond farm rate.
    After 1.18, Clearing End and farming end city is the 100% faster way to get diamond armor / tool sets, and there is NO NEED to mine it inefficient way.
    Deepslate is the worst patch since 1.15 in minecraft, and they shouldn' make it, at least it's mining speed should have been a normal stone speed.

    Due to this TERRIBLE, WORST concept to only makes Survival players angry and annoying, this patch is almost about to makes these player dumped as hard.
    They should make its mining speed as normal stone do, and thats what Minecraft should do.
    It's Minimal care what minecraft missed about.

    There are a few things I disagree with here:

    First, deepslate is one of my favorite building blocks! I think it looks amazing!

    Two, deepslate is an indicator that you are deep enough to get the precious ores (you could use coordinates, but still).

    I think we should keep deepslate how it is.

    Deepslate is a trash , I have to waste time to mine cobblestone because that trash can’t craft many things
