Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Marble and limestone

With calcite being added alongside fossils, limestone and marble blocks would be a neat addition. Calcite smelts into limestone. Limestone smelts into marble. Limestone could even generate naturally alongside fossils, alluding to fossiliferous limestone. This would be a great addition for us geology nerds that play!

    Honestly I agree and really want some marble… I know that this isn’t popular but marble is fashionable for building, could be used in caves and is a pretty cool item.

    I've been thinking marble and marble building blocks would be a great addition. Marble could be found under large mountains as well as be smelted from calcite. Stone Mason villagers should also have the blocks available for sale.

    I think that Marble and Limestone would come in handy for decorations, interiors and buildings, alongside with marble stairs and slabs.
