The corrupted Wastelands (dimension)

The corrupted Wastelands is a biome that can be visited by striking the dragon egg with lightning in the overworld (using lightning rods) which will summon the corrupted dragon. Similar to ender dragon, the corrupted dragon will fly around firing its harmful dragon's breath at any unfortunate players nearby. After defeating this hard boss, you will receive 8-14 corrupted shards. Using 9 of these shards, you can make a corrupted beacon, which after placing on a pyramid (similar to a normal beacon) will fire a beam to the sky which will open a portal to the Corrupted Wastelands. In the corrupted wastelands, you can find corrupted spectre which is a hostile mob that has a chance to disable your elytra or shield and also has the chance to posses you which has the same effect as poison. Using a corrupted lantern, a lantern crafted 8 iron ingots and 1 corrupted fragment, you can right click the spectres which captures their soul which can be extracted by some sort of block (haven't thought of that yet) and used to craft many useful things. Also, after extracting the spectres soul, it turns into a tradable npc which can sell great items.

Overall, this would be a great idea to add more of a challenge and something to do after the End.

    I really like it, now would you get the dragon egg back so that you could fight the ender dragon again? Another thing, I’d like the recipe to be 8 iron nuggets for a corrupted lantern.

    @crocofalcon, the egg will stay there but will become a corrupted dragon egg. Using a nether star and a dragon egg, it will become a normal dragon egg so you can repeat the process, giving you more shards. Also I meant to say iron ingots and thank you for liking my idea.
