Hi!
Essentially above the really deep, scary spooky biomes, somewhere around y=-34 you could have a thin, second layer of bedrock. So how would you access said biomes?
Well you could find fairly spars yet obvious entrances, communicating with caves, joining the dangerous dark to the tamer sub 0 caves.
So what would be the point? Creating a claustrophobic effect in an extremely dangerous environment. Players would have to make sure to mark their way back and not get lost and no go to far, or else it wouldn't be easy to go back up.
This could help make the Warden even more dangerous and ban players from just towering back up to the surface and escape whatever they're chased by. Plus it could create a tangible limit for the monster not to cross.
