A way to find out if you are in a slime chunk

So here is my idea to find out if you are in a slime chunk: so we all know that slime chunks are almost impossible to find without mods so why not add a indiction tool to help? So maybe you could find a new tool called a slime gem, and you sometimes find it in dungeons and when you are in a slime chunk it will ding (a ding kinda like breaking an amethyst block) every second so you can easily tell if you are in a slime chunk or not. Also it looks just like a green crystal so yeah that is my idea.

  I'd rather just see slime chunks replaced with an underground slime biome, or a spawning structure like a witches hut or illager outposts.  Perhaps the slimes could spawn in special pools of viscous liquid surrounded by moss, lichen, and mushrooms.
