New sound for walking, placing, and mining stone

The sound for stone currently is boring, it should sound more rocky. This would bring more atmosphere as well as ambience to caves since most of the caves are made up with stone.

  Also, I can understand why redstone would make the same sound as stone, but string should not make that noise. I don't even know that it should make a noise at all.

  It does sound more like leather boots than stone. In reality, stone is quiet; it absorbs the vibrations, and you usually hear the sound of the material that is colliding with the stone. But, when rocks are tumbling they do make the sound effect, "tumble rock," actually, I donno. But I do hold veracity when I say that stone in game sounds like leather boots stepping on a wooden floor.
