moss blocks should spread automatically

moss in real life is able to spread without human need, so it would make sense if moss blocks slowly spread to other blocks. sculk could do the same thing but in lower light levels.

    I would agree if only the spread had a limit so the entirety of the underground around lush caves isn't converted into moss then burnt away upon growing into a lava pool.

    I think the reason they wouldn't do this is because if it reached the surface it would spread indefinitely & cause lag. The solution to this would be to only allow it to spread when in darkness for periods of time longer than a full night cycle.
