    I like the idea, but adding 300 blocks of depth is a little too much.
    I think it would be better to add another 64, so both above and bellow surface have 192 block, giving players 384 blocks to work with.

    I think this is a Great Idea it is not deep enough and should be deeper because I feel personally that you can get to the bottom way to fast even in survival.

    I played survival on 21w40a today, I couldn't agree more.

    As deep and as harrowing as the new Deepslate caves are, I never felt as though I couldn't exit the underground easily. I started heading back up to the surface from y=-50 with 5 cooked salmon in my inventory, and by the time I was at the surface I still had 3 cooked salmon.

    The increased riches of the lower parts of the world should have the tradeoff of being incredibly risky to get. If the world went down to y=-128 and had an even harder stone beneath y=-64, the sheer depth would force miners to consider their own survival with no accessible coal and a limited food supply.
