I think the fog of your render distance should be changed to a black variant, the white fog kind of ruins the effect of being a "deep, dark and scary place".
Definitely, I like to play bedrock on Split screen with my family, I never relized this would happen. I think it would be very weird having white fog :/
I had a simmilar idea, but the only difference from my idea was a Nether Fog for the deep dark, but would be completely pitch black, and would lower render distance. This could help make the Deep Dark less laggy as less chunks would be loaded in and the Warden would have better performance.
