Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Suggestion; Rename Grimstone to Slate

Grimstone is an amazing block. But I feel Slate would be a more fitting name given its looks and function.

It would feel like a more natural progression from Stone to Slate to Bedrock. And a progression to harder and harder blocks. (Maybe changing the bedrock texture to be closer to slate?)

The Grimstone name could be used for a more fancy version of the block. Like one infected with Skulk.

    You know what... after seeing this post, I agree! The name kinda sounds like some 12 year kid trying to come up with a a name for their Edgy OC they like to draw (no offense meant)

    I also think the regular version of Gimstone looks a lot like bricks, which is confusing because it also has a brick variant... bricks made out of bricks..

    Yeah I was a bit confused with "Grimstone". I thought it would be called Slate as well. Grimstone just sounds... a bit odd.
