Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

There could be new ways to obtain this power, the obvious being waterwheels, windmills, and lightning rods, but there could also be piezoelectric generators (pe-ei-zo, piezo=pressure or push) that produce a charge when struck. These would be made from copper and quartz (it makes an electrical charge when struck). Applications for this new form of electricity could include electromagnets, which can pull red sand (it's red hue comes from oxidized iron), dropped items made of iron, anvils, iron blocks, minecarts, iron golems, and even players if they're wearing iron armor! Magnetized objects will keep moving until they lose their momentum or they hit something, deal significant damage to entities they may hit, why wouldn't a flying chunk of metal hurt?
