Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Grinding enchants onto a book off a grindstone.

So if you were to put, for example an iron pickaxe with fortune 3 in a grindstone and a book below it, you should be able to get an iron pickaxe and a fortune 3 book, but at the cost of levels instead of gaining levels.

    That would be too OP. You would easily be able to enchant diamond/netherite wepons by enchanting a a gold tool wich have better odds of having/getting good enchants. Plus I think mojang said they wouldn't do enchantment transferring.

    Well they could in favor reduce the amount of good enchants on gold tools, which fortune or other enchantments wouldn't be the best because gold can't even break diamonds, making it so fortune should only work on coal. And it would cost probably around 3 levels for weak enchants, and up to around 12 levels for better enchants. But that's if they made it so it costs levels.
