ziplines and crossbow mounting

would it be possible to create a way to mount a crossbow on a fixed stand with a hopper built in for storing arrows? it would be nice for mounting onto the top of basses and outposts for shooting monsters at night and even just archery fun with distant targets. on a related topic, would there be a way to attach string to the arrows by adding them to the hopper feed for the mounted crossbows as to shoot a zipline for transport? I enjoy building mountain fortresses above my villages. its great for overseeing my builds in town since I only play in survival and cant fly. currently a minecart system is my best way back to my village aside from a risky jump. a zipline feature would be a great addition. thank you for your time and i look forward to a reply

    Placing crossbows on fences could be interesting. A hopper pointing at the fence would supply arrows and/or fireworks upon reloading.
