Dyeing Nether portals (link to portals together)

You should be able to dye nether portals so that one to another portals are the same color they will link up and they were only teleport to the other color. It should also use the bed rocks color combination system like the cauldron uses

seems like a good idea but. . . how would that work? like instant teleportation?
