Oneblock

I have recently been playing Oneblock Skyblock. I cant buy the gnomes. I then tried it with cheats and cant get the gnomes to mine the biome blocks without falling into the abyss. I also have no idea how to get to the island that has the spot to place the items, like they show in the add clip.
