Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

There should be a way to craft steel using iron and carbon (coal) which could be used for a wide variety of things.

    I want this too, but there are definitely issues to work out. How does it fit into the already tightly packed armor structure? And the same for the weapons? For tools we could just have increased durability, and the same armor/weapons, but that feels like selling it far short of its potential. I’m sure it’ll be in the game eventually.
