in the snapshot (21w05b) azaleas were put into java. this picture is of Azalea roots (the wood that is put into fish aquariums) I believe if put into Minecraft there could possibly be different ways of acquiring this item as a block and individual item. the item (azalea root) can be apprehended by shearing and/or putting an azalea in a furnace to dry it out. from there it can be placed into the world as an azalea root. this not only would give more of an accent feel to our builds but it also could be put in a tank full of fish to add more decoration. I also believe it would be made into a block called spider wood it would take 9 azalea roots to make 1 spider wood. decoration aside, it would have a special property which within a light level 4 and under it would have a chance to spawn cave spiders. it can be controlled by the placement to prevent players' builds from being overrun by cave spiders. the block would detect if there is another block above or below (if the spider wood block is in the ceiling it can spawn cave spiders below the block because the bottom of the block is exposed. same with the top of it exposed) if neither top nor bottom of the block is exposed it will not spawn cave spiders. or if a light level greater than 4 the cave spiders will not spawn. once the azalea roots are combined to make a spider woodblock they can not be untangled. the spider woodblock would have the same functions as normal wood fences doors signs etc. https://bantam.earth/spider-wood/
