Food spoilage

The new update of caves and cliffs is a wonderful opportunity to add the idea I thought of when you place food in the barrel so slowly it will lose dimension points similar to the weapon gauge and when this gauge runs out then meat will become rotten meat and plants will become either fertilizer or soil and there are two ways to save food or put The box in a cold area or make a special box that will be a refrigerator that will have to be fed in ice once every 60 hours with the help of a special slot

  No, this would be garbage in the game! Minecraft is not like real life. If I want this then download a mod

  Actually.. I like this idea. There is a certain point where after you make your big farms, and everything gets too comfortable. You want to add another mob? The most dangerous one you could add would be: bacteria. The idea of spoilage isn't exactly new, like with poisonous potato?

  Which Llama's could also eat with hay. You can preserve items for longer.

  Fridge:

  Combine snow and packed snow / ice and redstone to make it.. Or even a redstone torch to power it, etc.

  Make non spoilables:

  Make some dried jerky. Prepare with salt, etc. Fish would be the fastest to spoil, but you could just go punch some more fish if you're in a pinch.

  Planning a long mining run? Dry up some meat and salt or dry it up for jerky.
