Wet Mud: Dried mud becomes wet in rain or in a 4 block radius of water. It has all entities (except frogs) sink halfway through and slow their movement. It spawns naturally in swamps, caves below swamps, and sometimes at the bottom of rivers. In swamps, it can be found in large quantities along ponds/lakes and at the bottom of them too, making the swamp harder to traverse. It can be moved through at a faster speed with the Depth Strider enchantment. Dogs and pigs have a “rolling” animation in mud, and like it a lot. Monsters can be slowed by it, giving the player a chance to run away, (but aren’t as slow as honey blocks). Wet Mud can be collected with a shovel in blocks. Wet Mud can be used to grow specific crops in full light (will take suggestions for crops!)
Dried Mud: When placed, dry mud takes a whole day to dry. Then it can be mined with a pickaxe and stays dry, unless put in direct rain or in a three block radius of water. It can be used as a easy building block and is more blast resistant when dry.
Mud Bricks: Wet Mud can be cooked in a furnace or blast furnace and made into Mud Bricks. These have the most blast resistance of the three and have a stair and slab variant, and can be used for building. They will not be impacted by water.
