Infection

its like when u cut theres a chance it could become infect and in minecraft i think if you take a lot of damage in ashort period of time then you might get blindness for half a sec and have slowness for the time aswell and if you dont have a lot of hearts then the chance you could get infected and get bad effects is higher then with more or full

    i like the idea, but maybe it would only happen on hard difficulty
