I ran out of room in the main post (not the best at summarizing :c ), but I felt a few more examples should be given and stuff clarified:

-As a Creeper, of course exploding removes the charge, too; the lightning rod is the safer option if you don't need a last resort attack.

-As a sheep, you can eat grass to help fill hunger, and other players can shear your wool.

-As a cow, other players can milk you.

-As a cow, sheep, chicken, horse or parrot, you can only eat fruits and vegetables.

-As a pig or horse, other players can saddle and ride you if you let them.

-As a cat, you can only eat meats. As a wolf/dog, anything other than meat fills less hunger than it would for other mobs.

-As an Enderman, you can teleport a certain distance and, like horses, walk up blocks. Water hurts you unless you have Water Breathing.

-If you turn on an option called "Pure Chaos," you and others can choose a boss mob. As the Ender Dragon, you'll spawn in the End, and you'll have a "Dimensional Rift" ability that will let you enter other dimensions. The Dragon's block destruction could be kept, I think; that's why it's limited to Pure Chaos, though maybe it could just have the destruction removed if Pure Chaos is off.

-As a flying mob (besides the Dragon and Ghast), maybe flying could drain your hunger faster.

-You could even be a Vex.

Also, maybe an item that lets you change your species could be added, but it'd be exclusive to these worlds and be very hard to obtain.

That's all, I hope this sounds cool :)

I'd really like to play as an axolotl or a ocelot!
