Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I was going to post my own idea for glow squid neon blocks but it seems like you've already beaten me to the punch! Since I'm here though, I might as well put out some of my own thoughts in.

    - Instead of a flat texture like you suggested, my idea would be have tubes going through the blocks that shine a lighter color than the rest of the block thus making them lighter than other color blocks of the same color while essentially looking like a sea lantern but divided. This would subsequently solve the problem of black neon blocks you brought up with the lighter colors. As a bonus, these textures would be placed like logs and basalt, and thus would have both a top and side texture to play with.

    - Perhaps extending on my texture idea you'd be able to craft individual tubes and place them like end rods and chains? Maybe you'd craft 16 of them at a time similar to panes and bars and then you'd be able to craft four of them together into a single neon block? Your suggestion for crafting seems rather hefty on the glow ink cost and I think if a single craft of 16 individual tubes only costed one ink I think that would be pretty reasonable.

Thank you for listening and I hope you have a good day and night.
