A new ore that generates in the end. It is pronounced en-DEER-ee-um. This purple / teal (ender pearl-colored) ore generates in the end. It is extremely rare, so much so that it cannot self-sustain by enchanting it with Unbreaking III. In other words, it takes so many end stone blocks to find, your enderium tools with Unbreaking III would wear out trying to find it, despite it being better than netherrite in terms of durability.
However, Endurium tools are immune to void damage! They teleport up and out of the void and stop at about Y=64 (similarly to how netherite is immune to lava damage). Also, they, too, are immune to lava and fire by teleportation.
The only problem is that when you mine the ore, the dropitem teleports randomly. Also, endermites can help you find endurium because they are attracted to it and will try to infect the block. However, it is so rare that endermites are not a viable method of farming endurium as they can only sense it when it is very close. It never generates exposed to the surface, but always as the second lowest layer at the bottom of the islands, and only in the faraway end islands. When endermites locate it and stand above it, they spin around rapidly and their eyes turn teal colored as well as the particles around them. Endurium ore will still drop even if it is infested.
Endurium drops 1-3 end flakes. Using 9 end flakes, one can craft endurium items, which can be used to craft armor and tools. Endermites can detect it from up to 16 blocks.
