Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Glowsticks - New light sources & Decorative Blocks (Using GlowSquid Loot)

GlowSticks is a fosforescent stick crafted from a stick, a Glow Ink sac, and 2 iron nuggets. This new light source can be placed as a light source on all sides of a block.

It isn't as bright as an end rod but, it has 17 color variants that you can get by adding a dye to the crafting recipe. ( The original Colour is Aquamarine )

    We definitely need to get some useful stuff for the glowsquid now that the choice has already been made. It is a cool idea.

    There's already glowsticks in Education Edition. Doubt they'll add them since it's supposed to be an exclusive item that needs all of the elements in Education Edition.

    Crisp6364 But then again, they can just change the look and the name like for example, Glow Rod. I hope that they really add this to the original game

    I always wanted a colored Endrod. This can be a good alternative and also will give Glow Squid more uses

    This idea is great, I suggest that this thing should be named "Glow Rod" to avoid confusion between the Glowstick in Education edition and this

    Great idea, but since Glowstick in real life doesn't shine that much, I think the light level should be just around 5-7 like Glow Lichen

    This should be a thing! They should be throwable if you can't place them within range, that way you can light up far away areas! I made a mockup, if you want to add it to the post!

    Also, the crafting recipe might be a bit expensive, perhaps it should just be 1 glow ink sac and 1 stick to make 4 or 8 glowsticks?
