glow squid and glow dye

So far in the snapshots and other Minecraft content, we haven't seen what the glow squid will do. I and many other people think that Minecraft doesn't need another useless mob, so the glow squid should do something. The glow squid should squirt out glowing ink and you can capture the ink in a bottle, then you can use the glow ink bottle and a block in the crafting menu to make a glowing block. The block would have the same texture but it would emit light. The level of light it would emit would be depending on how many glow ink bottles you used in the crafting table. If you used one the level would be two, if you used two the level would be four, if you used three the level would be six, etc. I just think that this would be an amazing, helpful, and awesome addition to the game.

  Glow Squids should drop Glow Dye which should be a yellow-green color and have the ability to make all dyable things have a glow texture

  Craznag, wait but why yellow-green? The glow squid itself is a glowing blue color, so shouldn't the dye correspond? Please explain.

  Maybe the blocks could emit light, but items should only be given glow textures

  From what I have seen from Minecraft Earth pictures, the Glow Squid is blue but the glowing parts inside it and on the tips of its tentacles are green. Because we already have green dye, I though a yellow-green color would be best, especially if it could be separated from its glowing properties to just be a dye

  It'd be rad to have blue leather armor with the accents (head stripe, knee pads) glowing green like a glow squid. What if glow squid drops allow you to change accent colors?

  What if you can just add it to dyes and it just gives a light glow effect to that color. so you would have red dye and glowing red dye. The glowing dye, like glowing stuff in real life, would have a low light level but in large caves using it as a path or a marker would make your cave builds a lot more interesting. Also, it would make another good reason to make concrete other than regular dye colors. An additional interesting point would be to make lighter colors have better glowing effects just like real life.

  Ehat i think is that would be cool if instead of a glowing dye, it could add a new wool color wich is similar of the glowing squid
