As seen in many other posts, I think a rare underground variety of the mushroom island would be a wonderful edition to the New minecraft underground.
This glowing mushroom cave biome would have new or just glowing variants of current in-game mushrooms. The biome would include:
-Glowing mushrooms: with colors ranging from fluorescent blue to green, and gave off a small bit of light.
- Giant glowing mushrooms: Bigger versions of the normal glowing mushrooms, that also gave off more light.
- Glowcelium/ Glowing Mycelium: makes up the floor of the entire biome and functioned like mycelium; keeping hostile mobs from spawning. However instead of dirt, the mycelium could have stone as the base block.
- Glowshroom/Glowing Mooshroom: The main reason for seeking out this mysterious and rare biome. They would be florescent blue or green, with their bodies giving off soft light and the mushrooms on top glowing brighter. Using shears on them would make them normal cows. UNIQUE FEATURE: So the reason for seeking these glowing bovine is for their special mushroom stew, that is only obtainable by them. The stew could give the player a brief ability to make no vibrations, therefore becoming briefly undetectable to the sculk sensor and the warden. To help keep it balanced, the time the effect lasts probably shouldn't exceed a minute. To also add to the rarity of the new glowing bovine, it should revert back to a normal mooshroom if it is exposed to sunlight and/or taken above a y level.
